ST ANTHONY FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES
JUNE 30, 2010
Present: Fr. Matt,Terry Sweig, Dave Kinsella, Laura Brinkman, Jim Hoogland
And Craig Garvaglia
Absent: Eric Frantz and Dave Senechal
No Minutes were read from the previous month. We worked on the budget for 2010 – 2011.
The 2010 – 2011 budget was discussed.
Questions regarding the new bookkeeping program from the Diocese were addressed. This will be checked on in the month of August. Fr Matt will be contacting Julie.
A handout was passed out from Michelle Eskritt regarding music budget items. After consideration, the music budget was increased to cover the copyright fees.
Terry addressed the roofing situation. We have 1 Bid and we will be receiving 2 more bids. At that point a decision will be made and the replacing of the roof will go ahead. We will also have the filter cleaning system installed this summer. The total cost for this summer’s project will be approx. $35,000.00. We currently have $21,000.00 from Advancing the Mission. We will be asking for donations to help defray the costs.
A motion was made by Dave Kinsella to approve the budget with the few changes, and Jim Hoogland seconded.
Our next meeting will be sometime in August.

MARCH 2, 2010
Present: Fr Matt, Eric Frantz, Terry Sweig, Dave Kinsella, Laura Brinkman
Absent: Dave Senechal, Craig Garvaglia, Jim Hoogland
Fr Matt led us in the opening prayer.
The January meeting minutes were read. A correction was made -The next meeting should have been March 2nd not March 1st, 2010. Approved.
Balance Sheet: Looks OK
Next Year’s Budget: All groups are to submit their needs for 2010-2011 along with any new projects to the Finance committee for the planning session.
Doors: Designs have been selected. A down payment has been made. Doors are ordered and the Etcher has the designs and will be getting a rough copy for our view and approval.
Fundraisers: Fr Matt presented a couple of ideas. We suggested that a committee be formed.
Bishops Appeal: 33 Parishioners responded for $2300.00. Our assessment is $13,000.00.
Fr Matt would like to make a donation to a charity from our tithings. We will be looking into this when planning next year’s budget.
Advancing the Mission: We will be reviewing our mission statement and plan.
Next Meeting will be on Tuesday, April 27th, 2010 at 6:30pm in the Center.
